A China Star Projector OEM Factory for Product Lines Your Market Can Actually Sell

Our indoor catalog holds four different product families -- not 26 versions of the same lamp. We manufacture in our own factory and work with importers, distributors, and brand owners on the decision that comes before a quotation: which mix of visual content, controls, audio, sleep functions, and differentiated models your channel actually needs.

Functions vary by exact model and version. These figures describe the current product database -- they are not a universal configuration, and no single model carries all of them.

The First Sourcing Decision

A Star Projector Is Not One Product Category

Search results place star, galaxy, aurora, night-light, and 3D products beside one another, so buyers respond by comparing prices too early. That is the wrong first comparison: each family creates a different retail promise, needs different proof, and plays a different role in your assortment.

Swipe horizontally to compare all columns.

Comparison of the four indoor projector families and what each one changes in a B2B decision
Product family What the customer is buying What changes the B2B decision What must be checked on the sample
Star & Galaxy Recognisable celestial content -- stars, planets, zodiac, or constellation themes where the model supports them Content library, projection direction, audio, controls, and packaging story The exact patterns and combinations shown by the selected model
Aurora Moving ambient light for bedrooms, gaming, parties, and room décor Effect quality, control method, music sync, speaker functions, and form factor Colour, movement, brightness, noise, controls, and standard versus optional functions
Night Light A bedside, sleep, nursery, or portable ambient-light product White noise, timer, battery, power, ease of use, and child-oriented positioning where confirmed Actual sound content, battery behaviour, timer logic, accessories, and labelling
Naked-Eye 3D A content-led visual experience designed to differentiate the product line Scene library, focus, coverage, control, content options, size, and carton economics The exact version, scene quality, focus range, projection surface, and content package

The commercial consequence: do not ask for "the cheapest star projector" until you know which customer promise your product line needs to make.

Choose the Family First

Four Product Families, Four Assortment Roles

The model count is useful only after the family decision. Start with the role you need the product to play, then compare the exact models inside that family.

11 Current Models

Star & Galaxy

The broadest indoor family. It spans content-led designs, character-shaped housings, white-star ambience, and music-oriented models. Content and functions still have to be selected model by model -- the family name guarantees none of them.

Aurora

Nine of these are finished devices -- compact projectors, audio-led designs, and smart-control options. The tenth is an E26/E27 projection bulb, which belongs to a different shelf and has its own page. Select by effect, controls, audio, and placement, not by the word "aurora" alone.

Night Light

A smaller family with a different buying logic. When the assortment is built for bedside, nursery, sleep, or portable use, compare the confirmed white-noise, timer, Bluetooth, battery, and control functions rather than the projection effect.

Naked-Eye 3D

The differentiation family. BWL-3D-001 combines a 90-scene content library with adjustable focus, remote control, Bluetooth audio, music sync, timer, and model-level content options. It is the model that gives an assortment a visible reason to trade up.

Build the Line Around the Channel

A distributor does not need every feature. It needs a deliberate mix in which each model has a reason to exist.

Home Décor & Gifting

Begin with a visually understandable Star, Galaxy, or Aurora model. Add a content-led option only when the pattern library is easy to demonstrate and explain at the point of sale.

Prioritise

Visual identity · Simple controls · Clear packaging story · Demonstration assets

Kids, Nursery & Sleep

Build from products whose bedtime, timer, white-noise, battery, or easy-control functions are confirmed. Eight of the 26 indoor models carry a kids-room tag; do not turn a general projector into a sleep product through copy alone.

Prioritise

Confirmed sound content · Timer behaviour · Power arrangement · Sample and label review

BWL-SP-005 desktop RGB light towers under a starry ceiling effect

Gaming, Audio & Desktop

Use music sync, Bluetooth playback, AUX, USB audio, or APP control only where the exact model supports them. Music-reactive light and speaker playback are two separate buying decisions that buyers routinely merge by mistake.

Prioritise

Audio path · Reactive effect · Placement · Control convenience · Content demonstration

Differentiated or Flagship Line

Use Naked-Eye 3D, zodiac, adjustable-focus, or customizable-content models to give the assortment a visible step up. Confirm every differentiating claim against the exact version before it reaches your packaging.

Prioritise

Scene quality · Focus · Coverage · Content · Sample-to-quotation version control

Functions Are Options, Not Family-Wide Promises

The useful question is not "Do your star projectors support this?" It is "Which current models support it, and is it standard on the version being quoted?"

Function coverage across the 26 current indoor projector models
Function Current indoor models Buying implication
Remote control 21 of 26 Common, but not universal. Confirm the exact buttons and what each one does.
Music sync 21 of 26 Check whether the light reacts to ambient sound and how the mode is switched.
Bluetooth audio 15 of 26 Speaker playback is not the same thing as music-reactive lighting.
White noise / sleep sounds 7 of 26 Use only after the actual sound library and its controls have been checked.
Timer / scheduling 6 of 26 Timer logic differs by model -- cyclic auto-off is not the same as scheduling.
Rechargeable / battery powered 4 of 26 Decides portability, retail positioning, and transport documentation.
APP control 3 of 26 Available on specific models only. Never present it as a line-wide standard.
Adjustable focus 2 of 26 Relevant when the projected image has to stay sharp across room sizes.
Zodiac / constellation content 2 of 26 A differentiating content route, but only two models in the current catalog carry it.

Projection distance and area are published for 4 of the 26 indoor models. The remaining models stay blank until the figures are confirmed -- a blank field is a fact about our evidence, not a missing feature.

Evidence, Not Statistics

What Our Own Line Looks Like

Most factory pages open with square metres, patent counts, and a certification wall. We would rather show four visible production checkpoints and keep model documents, market requirements, and sample approval as separate evidence.

Open star projector housing showing the circuit board, wiring and optical assembly

Assembly access

An opened unit exposes the board, optics, wiring, and housing interfaces that should match the approved version.

Multiple star projector units powered on together during a batch light-on check

Batch light-on check

Multiple units powered at the same time make visible output differences easier to spot before packing.

Rows of star projector units powered on for a light output check

Light-on inspection

Brightness consistency should be checked across units, not only on the approved sample.

Star projector units being placed into retail boxes during packing

Retail packing

The final check should compare the product, accessories, manual, retail box, and carton with the approved order.

Production photos show visible process evidence; they do not prove certification. Model documents and destination-market requirements are reviewed separately instead of being collapsed into a family-wide badge row.

Before the Purchase Order

The Sample Must Lock the Version, Not Just the Shape

Similar-looking projector models can differ in content, controls, power, accessories, packaging, and evidence status. A useful sample approval records the exact version that the quotation and the bulk order must both follow.

Approval Output

One traceable sample record

The approved sample should connect the public SKU, exact version, visual effect, controls, power arrangement, packaging, and destination-market document status to the same quotation.

Before approval
Record what is standard, optional, or still unconfirmed.
After approval
Carry the same version reference into the quotation and purchase order.
  1. Public SKU and version -- confirm the sample, specification sheet, and quotation refer to the same product.

  2. Actual visual effect -- check pattern, movement, colour, focus, room conditions, and projection direction.

  3. Standard versus optional -- separate APP, audio, timer, battery, content, accessories, and packaging options.

  4. Power and controls -- confirm input, cable or adapter, remote, buttons, and what each control actually does.

  5. Label and packaging -- align manual, product label, retail pack, carton, and destination-market requirements.

  6. Documents -- request the current status for the exact model and target market; never apply one model's file to the full line.

What We Will Not Copy From One Model to the Other Twenty-Five

A category page becomes dangerous when one strong model lends its specifications to the whole product line. We keep the model-level gaps visible instead of turning them into family-wide promises.

OEM Starts With the Model, Not With the Logo

The same customization request can be straightforward on one projector and unsuitable on another. Start with the product family, the required functions, and the target market; then confirm the exact scope before quotation.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a star, galaxy, and aurora projector?

The names overlap in the market, so the label alone is not enough. Star and galaxy models lead with recognisable celestial content; aurora models lead with moving ambient colour. Compare the actual content, light effect, controls, audio, power arrangement, and intended use of the exact model rather than the category word.

How should a distributor choose a star projector product mix?

Start with the sales channel and target customer. Choose the visual family first, then decide which controls, audio, sleep, battery, focus, or content functions matter. We use that brief to return a model shortlist instead of asking you to compare 26 products yourself.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We manufacture. Bowlum is the export arm of our own factory, which is why specifications on this page are tied to individual models and why blank fields stay blank -- we are reading from our own product database, not re-listing someone else's catalog.

Can I request samples before a bulk order?

Yes. Sample availability, configuration, terms, and timing are confirmed for the selected models. The sample should lock the exact effect, controls, power, label, packaging, and required documents before the order moves forward.

Do all models support OEM or private label?

No. Customization scope differs by model. Share what you need and we will confirm feasibility, minimums, and timing for the selected model and scope.

Which certifications do the products carry?

Document status has to be checked for the exact model, version, and destination market. We do not use one model's file as proof for the entire indoor projector line, and we do not publish a badge row that would imply we do.

What are the MOQ and lead time?

Our benchmark for a standard existing product is 1,000 pieces with a 35-day production lead time. The exact figures still depend on the model, configuration, packaging and required documents, so we confirm them in your quotation. A new-tooling project follows a different path — 2,000 pieces and above, and about 95 days from confirmed industrial design. See our OEM/ODM page for the full breakdown.

Why are prices not shown on the website?

B2B pricing depends on the selected model, version, quantity, packaging, customization, and delivery requirements. Pricing is quoted privately once the purchasing brief is clear.

What information do you need to build a shortlist?

Target market, buyer type or sales channel, preferred product family, required functions, and estimated quantity. Add any packaging, OEM, sample, or document requirements. That is enough for us to come back with specific models rather than a catalog.
